The Valcom V-1036C is a 15-Watt high-efficiency one-way paging horn used to deliver voice paging, emergency alerts and loud ringing across large indoor and outdoor areas such as industrial plants, warehouses, schools, parking lots, stadiums and parks.
The horn is self-amplified: a built-in 15-Watt RMS amplifier module with an externally accessible volume control removes the need for a separate power amplifier. It is a reentrant-type horn with a high-frequency diffuser, providing 121 dB SPL measured at 4 ft on axis with a -10 dBm input at 1 kHz, a 225 Hz to 14 kHz frequency response and 120° horizontal by 90° vertical dispersion. Input impedance is 600 ohms nominal, output load is 8 ohms, and the amplifier operates from a -24 Vdc nominal positive-ground supply at 750 mA.
Supplied in beige; gray (V-1036C-GY) and marine white (V-1036M) versions are also offered.
