The Sumitomo Electric Lightwave DRSC-OSP6-SA00864-250-ADEROL is a 864 Slotted Core Freeform Ribbon™ Single Jacket All-Dielectric Conventional OSP, PureAccess® G.657.A1 Bend Insensitive Single-Mode Fiber Cable. This cable offers a high-density fiber solution in a compact and flexible design. Built with an all-dielectric construction, these cables require no grounding or bonding, making them ideal for a wide range of outdoor applications.

The key innovation is the patented 12-fiber Freeform Ribbon™, constructed of 250 μm colour-coded optical fibers, which provides the advantages of mass fusion splicing while maintaining the flexibility and adaptability of loose fiber bundles. The Freeform Ribbon™ design supports splicing with traditional flat ribbons, pliable ribbons, or single fibers, allowing seamless integration with existing systems. It also supports MPO and other industry-standard connectors.

The compact form factor enables high fiber density and efficient use of limited duct space, and the cable's non-preferential bend axis ensures easy handling in tight installations. Engineered for harsh environments, this cable includes gel-free water-blocking technology using tape, simplifying preparation and reducing installation time. It meets IEC 60794-3-19 and is tested per Telcordia GR-20 standards.
