With dimensions of 52.0mm x 30.0mm x 2.3mm, this module adheres to the 3GPP Release 15 standards. It is capable of operating under both sub-6GHz and mmWave frequencies, ensuring broad coverage. The module is equipped to function in both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) network modes, and it also provides LTE Cat 20 connectivity for enhanced versatility.

This module is compatible with several of Quectel's LTE modules, including the LTE Cat 6 EM06, LTE Cat 12 EM12, and LTE Cat 20 EM20, facilitating a smooth transition from LTE-A to 5G networks. An optional feature of the RM510Q-GL is its integrated GNSS (GPS/GLONASS/BeiDou/Galileo) capability, which offers precise and quick positioning. Additionally, it can be optionally equipped with an integrated eSIM, allowing for remote account provisioning without the need to physically access the device.
