The Preformed Line Products COYDTC-001 is a COYOTE® DTC (Drop Termination Closure) kit configured for flat and small round drop cables. The closure combines a compact size with a rugged exterior so it can be installed in tight spaces, and four corner entrance ports give the installer flexibility to configure in-line or butt splice arrangements. It is intended for quick restoration of damaged or cut fiber service drops and for last-mile FTTH applications.
Kit contents: (4) 1-hole port sealing grommets for 0.17" - 0.25" (4.3 - 6.4 mm) and flat drop cable, (2) LITE-GRIP® single fusion splice blocks, (1) LITE-GRIP mass fusion (ribbon) splice block and cable restraint hardware.
Splice capacity: up to 24 single fusion / 36 mass fusion using the LITE-GRIP splice block system, which also permits mechanical splices and PLC splitters within one closure.
Applications: direct buried, below grade, pole/wall mount or aerial.
Snap-together design assembles without special tools; a factory-installed gasket allows re-entry and re-use, and an internal organizer manages buffer tube or ribbon cable.
The closure is designed and tested in accordance with Telcordia® GR-771-CORE buried/underground, IP-68 rated requirements.
