The Newton Instrument Company 2113920000 is a rack space designation strip used to number the mounting spaces of a standard EIA relay rack or equipment frame. Applied to the rack upright, it gives technicians an at-a-glance reference for identifying mounting positions when installing, documenting or servicing equipment in central offices, head-ends and equipment rooms.
Because the strip is a thin mylar label rather than a metal panel, it adds no depth to the rack and can be applied to new or existing frames. Newton publishes this item under sales drawing 211392, last revised 03/26/2012.
