The Netceed MFOU12615 is a singlemode fiber optic patch cable built on ITU-T G.652D fiber in a simplex (single-fiber) construction. It is terminated with SC-APC connectors on both ends using standard boots, and uses a 2 mm diameter riser-rated (OFNR) jacket with an overall length of 2 metres.
Netceed states that fiber patch cables of this type provide interconnect and cross-connect of applications in entrance facilities, telecommunications rooms, data centers and at the desk, and that this OS2 patch cable is suited to 1G/10G/25G/40G/100G/400G Ethernet connections. The assembly uses bend-insensitive fiber, which Netceed notes shows less attenuation when bent or twisted than traditional patch cable, making installation and maintenance more efficient.
It is supplied as an individual unit (EA) and is part of a family of Netceed singlemode simplex jumpers offered in multiple lengths and connector combinations.
