Multimode Fiber Qualifications:

When using multimode fiber, specific criteria must be met to ensure proper operation up to 300 meters:

Both the base unit and remote hub must be multimode compatible.

All fiber within a given length must be the same core diameter (50/125 or 62/125 µm).

All bulkhead adapters must be single-mode SC/APC (green) adapters.

Terminations must be direct fusion splices or Corning MobileAccess specified patch cords.
