The Mimosa B5x (100-00109) is a modular point-to-point (PTP) backhaul radio for unlicensed spectrum and licensed 4.9 GHz spectrum. It is intended for short to medium range relay and tower links and for custom-engineered collocation, and accepts N5-X compatible twist-on antennas (12 dBi horn, 16 dBi horn, 20 dBi dish, 25 dBi dish - not included); an 8 dBi integrated antenna is used when no accessory antenna is attached.
The die-cast aluminum enclosure is rated IP67 for outdoor use, survives 200 km/h (125 mph) winds and operates from -40°C to +55°C. Power is supplied by a 48 VDC passive isolated PoE injector; a 50 VDC passive Gigabit PoE injector is recommended and is not included.
