The Jonard Tools RC-600 Ratcheting Cable Cutter is a hand-operated cutter built to cleanly cut copper power cable up to 600 MCM, aluminum up to 750 MCM, and other similarly sized multi-conductor cables. Its ratcheting action lets a technician hold and cut cable quickly and easily with minimum effort, with a maximum cut capacity of 1 3/4" (4.4 cm) diameter.
The tool measures 11 in x 3 in x 1 in and weighs 2.07 lb (939.78 g), making it practical for utility, electrical and broadband cable work in the field. Note that this cable cutter is not designed for use on ACSR or other steel cables.
