The Jonard Tools MS-326 is a patented mid span slit and ring tool that provides easy access to optical fibers inside thin-walled outer jackets, such as the fiber optic cables used with microducts. It removes the cable jacket without damaging the buffer tubes underneath, and will also work to slit and ring thin wall buffer tubes.
It was specially designed for Corning fiber cables such as MiniXtend® binderless FastAccess® and HD MiniXtend®, as well as other similar style cables. The MS-326 builds on the Jonard MS-6 and MS-26 mid span slitting tools by adding the ring function, and is covered by a lifetime warranty.
