The Hubbell Power Systems Quazite PG3048EA08 is a polymer concrete bottom extension for 30" x 48" PG-style stackable underground enclosures. It measures 48 in x 30 in x 8 in and weighs approximately 105 lb, adding depth to an existing below-grade box so additional cable, splices or equipment can be accommodated without replacing the enclosure.
Per the Quazite catalog ordering table, this bottom extension is intended for use under an 18 in box only, one per box. Distributor data lists typical applications as electric utility, communications, water and commercial/industrial underground distribution.
