The Hubbell Power Systems GC5006 (FARGO brand) is a vise-type grounding clamp for copper cable-to-cable connections. It is intended for copper connections in splice, loop deadend or service entrance tap applications. The one-piece design allows easier, faster installation, and the vise design achieves high connector pressure with low wrench force.
Per the manufacturer's catalog, connectors in this series accept one or two of the conductors listed and any combination in between. The GC5006 is supplied unplated and is not inhibitor loaded. A slotted hex-head bolt version of the same connector is cataloged as GC5006SH.
