<p>The Corning <b>004301UB4FD150F</b> is a factory-terminated single-fiber OptiTap® SST-Drop™ indoor/outdoor drop cable assembly, with a hardened OptiTap connector on one end and a bare stub on the other, built on bend-insensitive single-mode (OS2) fiber in a dielectric, gel-free construction and supplied in bulk packaging.</p> <p>Corning indoor/outdoor SST-Drop assemblies combine the rugged outdoor performance of standard SST-Drop cable with the bend tolerance of a compact indoor drop. The design places a gel-free, fully waterblocked, UV-resistant 2.9 mm riser-rated (OFNR) drop cable inside a traditional SST-Drop dielectric cable, so no transition splice or termination is needed at the indoor ONT. Because the cable is all-dielectric, no bonding or grounding is required, and it is suitable for aerial, direct-buried and duct installation.</p> <ul> <li><b>Typical insertion loss:</b> 0.15 dB; reflectance -65 dB</li> <li><b>Integral pulling eye/connector cap</b> rated for 100 lb maximum pulling tension; pulls through 1.25 in conduit</li> <li><b>Plug-to-adapter coupling strength:</b> 50 lb; cold mate/demate tested at -40 °C</li> <li>Designed and tested to Telcordia GR-3120</li> </ul> <p>The OptiTap end mates with flush-mounted hardened bulkhead adapters on FTTx terminals and closures for rapid, tool-free field connection.</p>
