<p>The CommScope <b>FD3-PA096J00U4220</b> is an FDH 3000 series fiber distribution hub built into a pedestal enclosure for FTTx outside-plant distribution. It is configured with <b>96 SC/APC distribution ports</b>, stranded pigtails, a maximum splicing capacity of 96, and a 12-fiber spliced feeder. The unit ships with no splitters installed but provides six splitter slots, and includes four 24-way heat-shrink splice trays plus two cable clamps.</p> <p>CommScope states the metal cabinet can be placed in the ground without pouring a concrete pad or installing a hand hole, and the platform is modeled after the FDH 3000 fiber distribution hubs. Full-size trays are provided for splicing incoming feeder and outgoing distribution cables, with the option of adding hardened drop connections.
