These washers are designed to distribute the load of a threaded fastener, such as a bolt or screw, over a larger surface area to prevent damage to the material being fastened.  Used under the heads of bolts, nuts, and other threaded products to provide a broader bearing surface and increase the compression grip of the tightened nut. Bent at a 4-1/2 radius to fit the contour of poles. Stamped from AISI 1018 Steel. Hot dip galvanized to meet ASTM Specification A153.
