The 1047020210-01 is the ADVA Optical Networking OSA POE/INJECTOR, an AC-powered Power over Ethernet injector from the OSA (Oscilloquartz) product line, now part of Adtran. It delivers up to 33.6 W of PoE power in accordance with IEEE 802.3af / IEEE 802.3at, allowing a remote powered device to be fed over the same copper link that carries its Ethernet traffic.
Because it accepts the full 90-264 VAC range, the unit suits both 115 V and 230 V installations with the appropriate mains cord. AC power cords are not supplied with the injector and must be ordered separately. A DC-input sibling model (part number 1047020214-01) is offered for sites with DC plant power only; it takes 48-57 VDC on a terminal block and provides a maximum of 30 W output.
