The ABB (Carlon) E943H is a 1-1/2 in. non-metallic male terminal adapter for electrical raceway systems. It is molded from PVC and supplied in gray, with male threads on one end and a socket (slip) end on the other, so a run of rigid non-metallic conduit can be solvent-welded into the socket and threaded into a box, a threaded fitting or a metallic system.
Distributor data for the Carlon rigid non-metallic fitting line notes that all sizes of rigid non-metallic conduit fittings are compatible with ENT when ENT cement is used. This is an electrical conduit fitting rather than a plumbing fitting.
