The TP146 is a ring tongue terminal designed for commercial and light duty industrial control and power circuit applications. It features expanded insulation support that accepts standard and large wire diameters, providing insulation support. A funnel entry facilitates easy wire insertion. The terminal is manufactured from pure electrolytic copper, offering maximum conductivity, low resistance, and ductility for excellent crimp forming properties. Deep V groove serrations in the inner barrel provide added holding strength and better conductivity. It is electro-tin plated for durable long-lasting corrosion resistance. The terminal is supplied with an expanded polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation shroud and is rated for 600 V and 105 deg C maximum. It accommodates 16 to 14 AWG stranded copper conductors and #4 to #6 stud sizes, with a 0.74 in length, shrouded barrel, 0.18 in ID barrel, and 0.25 in W x 0.03 in THK tongue. Wire strip length is 13/64 in. Installation tools include plier type Y10D, Y10-22, or ratchet tools MRE1022NV, MR8-89-1, MR8-G96, MR15. Maximum insulation diameter is 0.18 in.
