The Prysmian PBIF001HNNN750F is an ezDROP™ preconnectorized single-fiber FTTP drop cable assembly: a bend-insensitive single-mode flat drop of all-dielectric construction, factory-terminated with a hardened (OptiTap®-compatible) SC/APC connector on one end and an unterminated stub on the other, supplied in a 750 ft length.
Prysmian states that ezDROP™ preconnectorized drop cables enable rapid provisioning of FTTP services, letting installers with minimal equipment and training plug them into compatible ports and eliminating field splicing of drop cables. The OptiTap®-compatible version mates with any OptiTap®-style terminal, including Corning OptiTap®-style multiport and flex terminals and CommScope multiport terminals and flexible service terminals fitted with OptiTap® adapters.
