The LCAX12FSM-3M is a 12-fiber singlemode fiber optic pigtail terminated with LC-APC connectors on one end and left blunt (unterminated) on the opposite end for field splicing. It is built on 900um loose-tube buffered fiber and measures 3 meters (9.84 ft) in length.
Pigtails of this type are fusion spliced to incoming distribution or feeder fibers inside splice trays, closures, wall boxes and rack-mount fiber enclosures, providing a factory-terminated, pre-polished connector interface at the patch field. The 12-fiber bundle lets an installer terminate a complete fiber group or buffer tube in a single operation, and the angled (APC) LC endface is the interface commonly specified for singlemode PON and RF-over-glass video plant. The item is supplied individually (unit of measure: EA) and ships by parcel.
