The Corning 37R44449748-075F is a factory-terminated ROC™ drop cable assembly supplied with SC/APC connectors on both ends and shipped as a bulk pack of 22 assemblies, as listed by authorized Corning distributor Walker & Associates. The same base number is offered in additional length codes (-100F, -200F, -250F).
Corning's ROC™ drop platform uses an outdoor, flat drop cable design available in dielectric or toneable construction; the toneable version adds a toning conductor alongside the fiber and GRP strength members so direct-buried drops can be located easily. The reduced cross-section cable has about half the minimum bend radius and more than 50% smaller outer dimensions than legacy drop cable, improving slack storage in optical network terminals, pedestals and handholes and cutting truck stock requirements. ROC drop cable assemblies are designed and tested to Telcordia GR-3120, and the cable supports Corning FastAccess® technology for rapid field access to the fiber. Typical use is FTTH/FTTx subscriber drops in aerial, direct-buried and duct environments.
