3M Fire Barrier Sealant FD 150+ is an economical, ready-to-use, gun-grade elastomeric sealant that dries to form a monolithic flexible firestop seal. It firestops joints and through penetrations in floor slabs, walls and other fire-rated building partitions and assemblies, helping control the spread of fire, smoke and noxious gasses before, during and after exposure to a fire. The latex-based, water-clean-up formula exhibits excellent adhesion to a full range of construction substrates and remains elastomeric.
3M lists it as an ideal product for sealing construction joints and through penetrations such as metallic pipes, conduits, and power and communication cables.
